Karen joined creative forces with Gillian from "Gillian Wesley Designs" in Kenilworth to host the making of shoulder bags that were donated to hospitals in Coventry and Warwickshire. The bags are provided after breast surgery to accomodate a drain and thus enable patients to become mobile as soon as possible.
Donations of fabric to "Lets Create" were used and volunteers made 150 bags at the shop on 9th August 2006. Thank you to everyone who participated.
